I listened to the first episode of the Happy Jack’s live play for this game and I just had to get a copy of it. I play TTRPG with my brothers who like me have been playing them for decades. All of us have served as GM’s at one point or another and we were talking about how there are certain kinds of games where the world building is collaborative from everyone participating (and so different from the 1970s version of Dungeons & Dragons, where the DM was the omniscient, all powerful God and players quaked in their boots, lol). This seems like the kind of game that experienced RPG players would want to play. I wish you all good luck in getting this game out to interested players, Kodi. I will certainly be mentioning it to other players.

Oh wow, thank you so so much! I really hope you enjoy the game <3 And yeah, look, word of mouth continues to be the most reliable form of "advertisement" so mention it all you like! It can only help :D Thanks again!

Played a couple of one shots this past month, everyone seemed hopeful to get more opportunities to play it, and two of the people I regularly play with who joined those one shots pretty much demanded I add it to the list of game pitches for future campaigns for that group, which I had zero issues doing, so there's a decent chance I'll have the opportunity to play this in a campaign format later this year.

Good luck on the physical version Kickstarter next month.

oh wow, that’s amazing!!! I hope your future campaign goes well! And thanks for wishing me luck <3

Beginning my solo game of Extraordinary! Did a little hack for the series prologue for an adult NPC and it was so awesome! Fantastic work!

This looks amazing, and I'm adding it to my "must play in 2025"! Can you briefly clarify what you see as the difference between the Expelled, the Miscreant, and the Punk?

That's amazing! I hope you have a blast playing it!

As for the playbook differences, the Expelled is about never having a safe or stable home (and thus finding home amongst the other Kids), the Miscreant is about challenging existing rules and systems (whether it's beneficial or just plain chaos-causing), and the Punk is about fighting injustice and standing up for the downtrodden (and how one's ideals may have to change to fully do so).

Each playbook has an italicized character blurb at the top of the page and an explanatory block at the top of the middle column if that helps too!

This game seems *exceptionally* cool, as a big Belonging Outside Belonging fan - and there's so many exciting playbooks!

Thank you so much!! I did go a bit overboard with the playbooks, hehe. Hope you enjoy the game!
